The library has many movies in its collection, especially since Samford's English Department offers a Film Studies concentration The library also has many films that were produced for educational use in the areas of drama, history, literature, music, and science.  

All video materials are located on the first floor of the library next to the circulation desk.

Some of the older materials are in VHS format.  The library has viewing rooms available, in which users can view DVDs videos, as well as listen to CDs. Users can gain access to viewing rooms by contacting the circulation department on the first floor.

To search for a specific title, go to the library's catalog, choose the "title" tab, and type in the title of your item.  You can also search for video material by performing an advanced search in the library's catalog.  From the "material type" box, choose "DVDs and Videos," the seventh choice down the list.
